Project introduction
WeldGalaxy delivers a B2B digital platform that connects buyers and suppliers of welding equipment, auxiliaries, consumables and services. The platform includes knowledge-based engineering tools for equipment selection and digital design and testing of equipment capabilities.
Flowphys contribution
FEM module for computational welding mechanics: transient non-linear thermo-mechanical analysis, heat source and material models, template-based parametric modelling, mesh generation and fast solvers. Thousands of simulations run to train Kriging and neural-network metamodels; cloud-based simulator deployed to the WeldGalaxy platform.
