What this site collects
Server and hosting logs
Like most websites, the hosting infrastructure that serves these pages may record technical request data such as IP address, time of request, requested URL, referrer and user-agent string. That processing is carried out to operate, secure and troubleshoot the site. Retention depends on the hosting environment.
Consortium enquiry form
The form on the Partner with Flowphys page collects the fields you choose to submit:
- name
- organisation
- email address
- call or topic (optional)
- role sought
- proposal deadline
- message
Submitting the form opens your own email client with a message addressed to info@flowphys.com. Flowphys receives the enquiry as ordinary business correspondence. We use it only to assess and respond to research partnership requests. We do not sell this information or use it for advertising.
Email and other direct contact
If you email us or write to us, we process the contact details and content you send in order to reply and keep a record of the correspondence where needed for legitimate business purposes.
Analytics and advertising
This website does not currently use analytics cookies, advertising pixels, social widgets that track you across sites, or cross-site advertising identifiers. If cookieless, self-hosted analytics is added later, this notice will be updated to describe what is measured.
Purposes and legal bases
We process personal data where necessary to:
- respond to partnership and research enquiries (legitimate interests, and where applicable steps prior to a contract)
- operate and secure the website (legitimate interests)
- comply with legal obligations that apply to Flowphys AS
Retention
Enquiry and correspondence records are kept for as long as needed to handle the request and for ordinary business and legal record-keeping. Hosting logs are retained according to the hosting provider’s configuration.
Recipients
Personal data in enquiries is handled by Flowphys staff who need it to respond. Hosting and email providers process technical and message data as processors or as providers of communications services, under their own terms. We do not disclose enquiry data to advertisers.
Transfers
Flowphys AS is established in Norway. Depending on your email provider and our hosting arrangements, message or log data may be processed in the EU/EEA or in other countries. Where a transfer outside the EU/EEA requires safeguards under applicable law, we rely on the mechanisms available for that service.
Your rights
Under the EU/EEA General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Norwegian Personal Data Act, you may have the right to request access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection to processing based on legitimate interests, and data portability where applicable. You may also lodge a complaint with the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet) or another competent supervisory authority.
