Project introduction
SafeDrop develops a multimodal photonic–electronic sensor platform for rapid health and environmental diagnostics. Silicon photonic Mach–Zehnder interferometers are combined with thin-film transistors in co-localised sensing cells to produce chemical fingerprints for on-site use cases in water quality, health diagnostics, food safety and air quality.
